Bardia National Park:

The Bardia National Park is the largest and most undisturbed protected area in the Terai and is home of the endangered Royal Bengal Tiger and Nepal's famous One-Horned Rhinoceros. The national park located in the far western region of Nepal, Bardia District and is bordered by River Karnali in the west, the Churian range lies in the north, while the River Babi flows right through the park. The varied geographical factors together with the thick cover of Sal, Savannah forests and grasslands render this region idyllic as wild animal habitat. The park hosts 30 more than 30 different mammals and in excess of 250 species of birds with several varieties of reptiles and water animals.
Some of the other animals found here are Elephant, Swamp Deer, Blackbuck, Gharial, Crocodile and Marsh Mugger Crocodile. The exotic Gangetic Dolphin is also sometimes seen in River Karnali where you can also find opportunity of Bird Watching and fishing at River Karnali and River Babi. The best time to visit the park is in autumn, winter and early summer when the weather is warm and dry. The best way to reach the Royal Bardia national Park is via Nepalgunj in Banke District. Nepalgunj is connected by air and by road access to the capital and other cities in the western part of the country.

Safari Details:

Day 01	:	Arrival in the Resort and relax in our Tharu Bar or in the beautiful garden. At evening discover indigenous people, Tharu life and culture - Tharu village/culture tour with experience guide.
Day 02	:	Whole day walking safari to view and swim with Gangetic Dolphins through dense forest, wild elephant and one horned rhinoceros inhabitant and riverine forest with naturalist.
Day 03	:	Early morning 30 km drive by jeep to Karnali River and rafting on river for 5 hour discovering the wildlife along the riverside. One hour ox cart ride and 30 minutes jeep drive to the Resort from raft end point with exploring the wildlife on the way.
Day 04	:	Jeep Safari for 4 hours through the sal forest to discover the Tiger and other animals. At P.M Elephant-back safari for one hour through dense forest to discover one horned rhinoceros, wild elephant and other inhabitant.
Day 05	:	Early morning bird watching followed with guide for an opportunity to discover the different kind of bird or explore the surrounding village alone. Departure

Note	:	Lodging of your choice and selection of place in Bardia can be arranged for each participant on request prior to your arrival in Nepal.
