Kusum Kangaru Peak - 19 days

Chulu East Peak Climbing Kusum Kanguru Peak situated at the height of 6,369 meters dominates the southern end of Charpati Himal. Regarded as technically very challenging on all possible routes, Kusum Kanguru is an impressive rock and ice peak which forms the border between the Dudhkosi in the south and Hinku Drangka Valley to the north. This peak is a complex, triple–summated mountain having at least five major ridges and faces. The north face of the main summit is the most spectacular one.
The name Kusum Kanguru comes from Tibetan meaning "Three Snow Peaks" and in Sherpa language is translated as Three Snow-White Gods.This peak is one of the most difficult trekking peaks to climb and was first conquered in the autumn of 1979 by a Japanese team. This climb is suggested only for participants who have enough alpine mountaineering experience.





Itinerary in Detail:

Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel
Day 02 : Kathmandu valley excursion, necessary preparation and briefing for the trip
Day 03 : Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) and trek to Chutanga (3100m)
Day 04 : Trek from Chutanga to Tuli Kharka
Day 05 :

Trek from Tuli Kharka to Tashing Ongma
Day 06 : Trek from Tashing Ongma to Tangnag
Day 07 : Acclimatization day in Tangnag
Day 08 : Trek from Tangnag to Kusum Kanguru Base Camp
Day 09 :

Necessary preparation day for climbin
Day 10 :

Trek from Kusum Kanguru Base Camp to Kusum Kanguru High Camp
Day 11 : Trek from Kusum Kanguru High Camp to higher camp
Day 12 : Climb from higher camp to the summit peak at (6367m) and back to Base Camp
Day 13 : Reserve day incase of bad weather for climbing
Day 14 : Trek from Kusum Kanguru Base Camp to Tashing Ongma.
Day 15 : Trek from Tashing Ongma to Tuli Kharka.
Day 16 : Trek from Tuli Kharka to Lukla
Day 17 : Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
Day 18 : Excursion day in Kathmandu for shopping and picking last minute souvenirs
Day 19 : Transfer to airport for flight to your onward destination

All participants meet and end the trek in Kathmandu. Lodging of your choice and selection in Kathmandu and Pokhara can be arranged for each participant on request prior to your arrival in Nepal. The cost of this package can be set with or without this facility. To extend your trip for any other adventure is at your choice which could be organized at your discretion.
