Langtang Valley Trek - 07 days
Langtang Valley is a narrow passage that lies just south of the Tibetan Border and to the north of Kathmandu in the Central Himalayan region. Langtang national park established in 1976 is a high altitude jungle with diverse vegetation and wildlife, scenic lakes, glaciers and Himalayan peaks combine to make Langtang an attractive destination for visitors. This trek specially offers an opportunity to explore villages, climb small peaks and visit glaciers at a comfortably low elevation. This high and isolated region is inhabited by tamangs whose religious practices, language and dresses are much more similar to those of Tibet than to their traditions of their cousins in the middle hills. You may also find villages and settlements of Yolmos and Tibetans.
