Singu Chuli (Fluted Peak) - 26 days
"Singu Chuli" formerly known as Fluted Peak holds the reputation of being the highest amongst the "Trekking Peaks" of Nepal. This peak is situated in the Annapurna Sanctuary adjoined to Tharpu Chuli and across Hiunchuli peaks. It takes hectic six days walk to reach at the base camp of Singu Chuli up to the Modi Khola gorge and then ultimately to the Annapurna Sanctuary Base camp at the height of 4350m/14668ft. This is the point where you lead to establish two higher camps, the first one at 4,900m/16,000ft while approaching North East Face of the summit. The later but higher camp is established at the height of at 5,500m/18,000ft.
When reaching North East Face of the mountain you start gaining the ascent to the respective summit. Though the walk or trek along this way may be hectic but the environment and the beautiful scenario of the surrounding assures you to be refreshed all the while and not letting you get tired. Vertical walls confronting you near the summit pose some technical challenges on this climb.This climb is exceptionally advisable only to those who owe some alpine and ice climbing experience.
